How big are those scratches, is it possible that you scratch yourself in sleep?
The rest sounds rather scary and I don't have any experience with demons, it would be better if it is just a ghost ( I am serious), since you could tell them to go away( I heard so). A demon on the other hand, is way more dangerous.
When I understood you right, then the demon followed you. Normally, that is not possible. So my question is: Is there something that you took with you from the apartment?

The scratches are inexplainable, usually moderatly deep, and about aslong as the average forearm, either up or down the side of my torso. I do have other experiences with the paranormal before this (I go ghost hunting in the summer for fun) and that has never happened to me. Anyway, yes, I took my old dresser, however, the reason this is significant is that my room was another one of the places you would feel utter dread. So much so I couldn't sleep in it, and I'm not scared easily.
Do you need any of this stuff? I would burn it, like I said, it is most likely posessed and I wouldn't wait to find out which of those things it is.

Unless it is winter. But another Idea I had would be to sell them, but I'm not the mean type so i would explain what happened to them and since I know there are some people locally in my neighbourhood interested in the paranormal maybe they could take the stuff off my hands?
Well, like Asandir, I think the scratches could be you, there is a name for the condition where you scratch yourself in your sleep, but I don't remember it... Sorry...
And the rest. I do believe in the paranormal and most of that stuff, so I do believe that something from your old house could be after you. Although, I believe that poltergeists can be a manifestation of negative emotions, especially from people in their teenage years, and what you describe does sound like what a poltergeist would do. And since some bad stuff has happened to you recently, I believe that is a very likely possibility.
