Lack of serious discussion...

Posted by Suprememessage - April 14th, 2011

on the forums is making me start to question whether or not it really is worth going to the forums. I mean so many people who are new to the site. I think maybe you should have to be level 5 before you can post that way you will atleast have some experience in the way NG works. I see a lot of people also who know the rules samn well and they still break them on purpose.

I really want to know why people do this. I hate it when it is so hard to get anyone experienced to post in a thread. Or maybe they just dont take it seriously. I wish to have serious discussions occasionally at least. Do any of you guys know of ways to incite serious discussion among other NG members?

most users are immature teens that can't make a serious conversation ever

Yeah, there are mannnnny many other places online for more serious discussion. I could recommend one or two.

Welcome to NG.

Thank goodness you're here.
Nobody (in the past 12 years) has made this type of observation and frankly, I think this needs addressing.

Perhaps the people that notice this type of problem (both here and elsewhere on the net) should just make sure they don't exacerbate the situation by participating in any sense of the word and avoid posting or reacting on pages made by users perpetrating this particular flavor of fail?

Wouldn't that be sweet?

Atleast you cant ban me from making News posts for talking about this over addressed situation.

I agree
